Up here in NY they put EVERYTHING in the parade, plow trucks, old cars, old people, motorcycles, tractors, horses, snowmobiles.

This is why we come here every 4th of July, the fireworks and parade are SO much fun, the finale is the absolute best part

I love the old guys in the jeep! Can we borrow them for our parade next year? LOL ..
I love the old guys in the jeep also!!! And a dump truck in the parade!! That's a new one!! Love the old tractors too!! In this area, all the old tractors come out of the barns where they have been stored since the last parade - fun to see them.
I'm doing the 4th's parades by both your and Priscilla's parade pictures. My plans, unfortunately, fizzled like a bad firecracker .... Eila's mother, who is visiting from the Netherland Antilles, is very old and frail of health - she had to be rushed to the emergency room for some heart problem so all out the 4th plans were cancelled. Followup - she is OK. THey are trying to convince her to stay here so that they can get better medical care for her but she wants to go home as scheduled next week.
