Immature male rose-breasted grosbeak (I say immature because ofthe slight rose/pink coloring at the edge of the wing alluding to a pink underwing, whereas the females have yellow underwing)

Oh thanks, I went to that page and you are exactly right! I have had a mature black, red and white one come to the feeder once in a while too, maybe this is his/her baby? Are the males the red,black and white?
I asked ray to get me a bird cam for Christmas, Martha Stewart had one on her blog, it takes video and pictures and she had a link to where to buy it
Pretty cool I got it on the first try. Now I'll yell at you...YOU STILL HAVE SUET WITH THOSE DARN BEARS HANGING AROUND!!!!!!???????

Is a bird cam similar to a game camera?
OK, but if you find a bear on a ladder outside your window, don't say I didn't warn you :)
He was there again this morning when I got up, I guess I have a new friend! Maureen, I sent an email to Cheryl about a bear but I don't have your email, maybe Cheryl can forward to you for me!
The bear could still smell it up there and hang around your house.
Kris- which one was back the bird or the bear? FB has my email contact stuff.
here i thought it was a sparrow that had a chip on its shoulder or chipping sparrow
