How are you doing, OK I hope. I'm sorry about your Grandfather. Dave is going over to your Mom's later to check on her, she was pretty shaky when he talked to her this morning. Take care, & once again I'm sorry for his loss.
I'm Ok, it doesn't really sink in with me until I get to the funeral. I have not talked to my Mom, Lois called, she said Mom was shaky too. He was a good ol guy!
I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. Your family is in my prayers.
Thanks Lori
I'm so sorry to read about your Gramps - Many hugs to you, Dave and your Mom.
I can understand what it must seem like to your Mom - when my last parent died, it was a big shock! Not only for the loss of the person themself but also with the radical change in the primal imprinting in my guts as to the structure and identity of my everyday world. Then the feeling that I was now part of the oldest generation, leading the "pack" for the rest of the younger family. It was a very lonesome, scary-sort-of feeling. I hope that the funeral goes smoothly and that you all are okay.
I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather, Kristen. What a long life he had, and a wonderful large family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Thanks Biddie and Priscilla, he was a good guy indeed and our family is huge!
Kristen,
I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your Grandfather. We will be keeping you, and your family, in our prayers.
