I spent most of my day yesterday, sitting, sitting and more sitting, waiting for his races. I got there just in time for the first one but had to wait probably 4 hours total for the second race. I go out for lunch and some shopping at Ocean state and picked up some goodies and came back in time to wait only 2 hours. He got 10th place the first race and I am not sure about 2nd, I think it was 12th, I left before they posted the results

I saw some kind of indoor motorcross last night on TV - there were tons of dirt brought into the stadium and pushed into a complex series of hills and valleys on a very twisted path over and around the stadium floor - then they let loose a bunch of motorcycle riders to race around as fast as they could - there was a lot of airborne flights from the top of the "hills" - amazing feats of balance and control ....
