I'm trying to learn your northern flowers - I don't know what your new flower is. I grew up in the north and yet between Maureen, Cheryl and yourself, you all manage to come up with flowers that I don't know.
Wow! I've missed a few good posts! Looks like you've been enjoying some nice weather. Good for swimming & good for planting!
I love the new flowers!
What a pretty garen you have! Is that sweet woodruff?
6th picture down, I mean.
Thanks Ladies!
Priscilla, The 6th one down is a white Lupin just starting to open up!
Hi Denise,
Yep I have been busy trying to catch up with our friendly gardener Cheryl!!
Biddie,
I don't know what 1/2 the stuff is either! And You and Denise have some pretty cool stuff that we don't have here!
Oh Priscilla, you caught my typo!!! I thought you had a typo until my friend emailed me and asked what my garen was. You librarians are so smart!!!
(( grin )) I just assumed that a garen was a Yankee term for a bunch of flowers .....
Hey there,
the last plant is a mallow, which is related to hollyhocks. My mother in law had some a couple of years ago, and I found one at Meadow View, so I too now have one of those pretty little mallows. I like the way it kinda looks geraniumish but tall and skinny.
Oh, how I wish I had a pool!!!!
Oh Maureen. You are correct! I got mine up at meadowview too, Cheryl helped me with the name over the phone yesterday after a while of playing password!
