Kevin came to dig up our old driveway yesterday and today he is coming with some re-claim, old used pavement, I put it down on the driveway of my house and it is awesome. It costs a whole lot less than having it paved so with money tight, it works out pretty good. This old Coke was buried under the old driveway!

Those huge machines have always reminded me of some kind of prehistoric dinosaur. Kevin did a good job of edging out the side lines.
What did you all do with the stuff that was pulled out of the drive, was it dirt?
Are you all taxed in your area for having a paved driveway? We are here - one of the reasons so few have paved driveways here .....
How cool! We had that EXACT thing done to us last week, too. We both have new driveways!
Wow, that's a big undertaking! Kevin does nice work. I was touched by how carefully he assembled the big rocks along my garden wall that he had saved for me while digging our septic.
He really took his time and placed them just so :)
We just had our driveway re-done. It's nothing special. We went from asphalt to concrete. I'd like to see what your finished driveway looks like with reclaimed pavement. I've never heard of doing that. Do they piece it all together like they would with stones/bricks?
Kevin is a wizard with big equipment, he makes it look easy and it comes out perfect!

we don't get taxes on driveway, we just get TAXED!!
Madeleine and Denise, weird? We both got new driveways! Re-claim is used tar, ashphalt, etc, it's crushed up so you get it delivered in a big dump truck, they dump it and then Kevin will spread it out, so it looks like pavement from far away but it will be more like a dirt driveway, but harder, it's getting harder for me to explain the more I write, when I get home, I will take pictures and show you.
We can't/don't have many concrete driveways here because of frost, etc, they would crack to easy
