Don't ask me how I spotted it in the tree but I did.
I can't get near them while I am outside but since this right outside the window I can watch them all the time, even Ray is excited and happy to see them there. This last one changed his neck color or was it because it turned it's head?

You are getting really good with your zoom lens :)
The feathers around the neck have an iridescence that reflects the light differently depending upon the angle. Causes the red to flash, doesn't it?

YUK!! You got a spam-jerk commenting. Make sure that you have the field in your settings checked off that keeps Blogger from displaying the existence of your blog on their displays to help prevent this kind of ick.
Love your hummingbird shots of the little guy sitting in the tree. I spent a lot of time trying to find where my little guys flew off to after they visited the feeder. I finally spotted them way up in the trees but I wouldn't be able to get a picture of them ....
