I had to get him up to the school at 6 am to get loaded up with his 25 classmates. They are going today to Washington DC until Friday for the 8th grade trip. He wasn't awake here and not happy mom was snapping pictures so I only got this one picture

It's a good thing for him that you cared enough for him to ignore his grumpiness and push on to get him to the bus on time - you could have gotten disgusted with him and let him go back to bed.
I hope that he has a great time ....
I am just as crabby in the morning! About a 1/2 hour later up at the school, all the kids were so excited and talking and laughing. He is going to have so much fun, I am happy for him but I will miss him too
