Great Osprey. I loved watching them fish. After they made a dive into the water, they would shoot back into the air with their catch and actually give a little shake like a dog to get the water off their feathers. We also had a nest at the back entrance to the park I worked in and we watched the babies fledge every year. It was great to have had the experience.
Cool shots!! What a magnificent bird! I saw a heron fly over the house this morning, I wondered if he was staking out my pond..
He did a great job taking the pictures, I had to share. I am printing them out now for him, he hasn't seen them yet because he does not know how to use his camera!
I think those heron's look like airplanes when they fly over head
G-o-o-o-d pictures! That was a big fish!
