That is very cool!!
oh have you been there??? You don't have to be a farmer to go to this store!! They have bird feeders, seed, baby chickens, rabbits, go karts, cowboy boots, fencing, and wheelbarrows!! and a lot more!!
Kristen - I had to laugh - there is, indeed, syncronicity in this universe!
On Friday, I went to town to get some grain for the cows at my country feed and farm supply store.
On the way into town, I saw that Tractor Supply was opening up a store in an old grocery store that had been sitting empty right across from the local Walmart.
I mentioned seeing it to the owner of the feed store, asking if he was concerned about losing business to it.
He said not really because his business is supplying the true farmers and cattle men in the area. He went on to say that Tractor Supply is really like a Walmart but it makes the yuppies and city folks who dabble in farming feel comfortable!!
I had to laugh! I said - you mean like me? He looked sort of sheepish, then grinned and, sort of reluctantly, said "yeh"! I promised him that he wouldn't lose this yuppie farmer! He just grinned and shook his head.
P.S. I'm just yuppie enough to think your dump-wagon looks like a handy piece of equipment!!
We don't have many feed stores here like I bet they do where you live, it's sad but it's all we got! I know there are a bunch of them all over the place just like Walmart. It's nice to have it close to us only 15 minutes away.
I've been there a couple of times...I always feel sorry for the bins of peepers & quackers they have at springtime & want to bring them all home with me. I was thinking of getting a baby duck for the pond, but then figured it probably would be eaten by either a coon or coyote. That wagon would be so handy for all the mulch I have coming, I have to haul it all over the yard in my wheelbarrow that I hate~I always bang my shins on it.
Aw...I want one of those!
I paid $62 Sunday, in my mail box LAST night, Monday they were on sale for $52, you mean to tell me the lady at the store didn't know this was going to happen??? Makes me mad
