Driving Home today....

This just caught my eye. I pulled over and realized I forgot my camera so I used my cell phone, there was this hazy fog lingering over this farm, it just looked so pretty

Cell phone cameras are certainly another degree of freedom .... I really like mine. It's a lot easier to lug around even tho' the pictures aren't quite the same quality. My only problem is keeping the darn thing properly charged.

Fog is a fun thing to play in - as long as you don't have to drive in it if it is blocking visibility. When my 2 brothers and I were little, we lived outside New Orleans - we had the only yard in the area with a fence. Up there, you have school snow days - we had smog days! Every year the trappers would burn the swamps - the resultant smoke and fog made for really thick smog - the school buses couldn't get out to pick up the kids, so we would have the day off. All the local kids would pile into our yard (since the fence would keep us from getting lost) and we would play hide-and-go-seek. To hide, all you had to do was just go stand still somewhere in the yard .... weird and fun. We would play until about 10 AM or so when the smog started disappearing for the day!!

That is a really neat story Biddie, thanks for sharing it. What a fun thing, just like our snow days. How awesome you lived near New Orleans, I want to go there and Texas, both destinatons are on my things to do list.
And Cheryl, I got the pictures up as you already have seen in person!
